Dr. Lasha Tchantouridze, Program Director for the Master of Arts in Diplomacy and Master of Arts in International Relations programs and Dr. Hayat Alvi, adjunct professor, discuss Dr. Alvi's book, The Political Economy and Islam: The Case of Tunisia.

Following the 2011 Arab Spring, Tunisia’s civil society and political system have engaged in inclusive dialogues and negotiations. As a result, democratic transition processes have been nonviolent, hence providing the Middle East & North Africa (MENA) region with a positive example (or model) of post-revolution transformations.
