Simply choose your course, register online, and pay for the course. If you are active duty, select the 'Active Duty 35% discount' prior to paying. Then send us an email from your military email address for confirmation. If you are an alumni of Norwich University, select the 'Alumni 20% discount' prior to paying. We will verify your status and contact you with any questions. Employers wishing to register an employee can select ‘Register Employee’ in the shopping cart and pay with a credit card. Yes. Courses can can be taken individually or as a certificate bundle.
No. Our public courses are 100% online, so you never have to physically come to campus.
Students in Norwich Pro courses earn Continuing Education Units, known as CEUs. Each CEU is equivalent to 10 contact hours and is accepted by professional organizations worldwide for the earning and maintaining of licenses and other credentials.
While this number can vary significantly by student, course, and program, a good rule of thumb is to set aside 6-8 hours a week to do the work — especially when first starting out.

No. Courses may be taken in any order, except for a few programs that have a Capstone at the end.
No. The prices listed apply to all students, whether you’re in Vermont or elsewhere.
No. For most programs, Norwich Pro provides all course materials in the online learning environment, so the price listed on the website is the full cost. The exception to this is the New England Public Works Institute program, which does have a book requirement.
No. Full tuition for each course is due at the time of course registration.
No. As noncredit offerings, these programs are not eligible for traditional, federal financial aid/FAFSA. However, students are sometimes able to get funding from their employers or other third parties to help defray the costs. Additionally, military TA or other educational funding may be used. Speak with your Education Officer to determine program eligibility.
Courses are fully refundable up to seven days prior to the start of the course. Cancellations less than seven days prior will receive a 50% refund. No refunds are provided after the course begins. To cancel, please email us at norwichpro@norwich.edu or call (866) 684-7237. Although rare, inadequate enrollment, instructor emergency, or other substantial issue could result in the cancellation of a course. In that situation, we will contact all enrolled students and fully refund tuition. If you’re deployed while taking a Norwich Pro course, please contact us with your deployment details, and we’ll help you make arrangements to finish your course when you are able to.
